How Did the Byzantine Empire Revive the Roman Empire and Create a Legacy of Its Own?

How Did the Byzantine Empire Revive the Roman Empire and Create a Legacy of Its Own?History has shown that whenever a Roman empire collapses, the world is plunged into darkness and chaos, even if it was never ruled by a God. The success of the Byzantine Empire in fighting the fire after the first Roman fall was no different. This empire lasted for three hundred years, and restored the Roman Empire's glory in the most modern and efficient way.The Byzantines were the successors of the Byzantine Empire. They were divided into the Latin Empire (Latin from Greek alphabet) and the Byzantine Empire. When the Greek empire collapsed under pressure from the Arabs, the Byzantine Empire started to decline. The Byzantine emperor split the empire into two parts and formed two halves, the Latin Empire and the Byzantine Empire. The Latin empire was based on the Byzantine empire. The Byzantine Empire was mainly built on the Roman empire. The Latin Empire was less developed and not as prosperous as the Byzantine Empire. The Byzantine empire did not concentrate its political power on the military. It relied heavily on commerce. The Byzantines relied on trade and diplomacy to increase their political and commercial power.Roman emperors were only able to govern part of the empire, because Constantinople was the major city in the Empire. Byzantine emperors were not able to rule all of the Empire. For three hundred years, Byzantium was ruled by the two empires - the Latin Empire and the Byzantine Empire. The Roman emperor did not interfere in the politics of the Byzantine Empire. The Byzantines had great military strength and advanced technology. Byzantium conquered a large part of the western part of the Roman Empire. The Byzantines extended their hegemony by spreading their language and civilization across the Mediterranean. Constantinople became the center of the Western culture and the word 'Byzantium' came from the Latin word 'Byzantium.' The Byzantine emperors built magnificent chu rches to spread their religion, arts, and language all over the world. It is easy to say that the Byzantines revived the Roman Empire. However, they did this by laying the foundations for the future. The Byzantines were aware of the Byzantines of earlier days and influenced them in terms of culture, religion, language, and civilization. The Byzantine Empire was born during three hundred years of Roman decline and continued to last even when the Roman Empire fell.
